Every young person deserves someone in their corner.
Second Chance & More is rooted in a simple belief: when we invest in young people, we invest in the future of our communities. We are a nonprofit youth development organization focused on young people ages 12–18 in underserved, low-income communities. All our programs and services are free of charge to youth and their families. Our purpose is to connect encouragement with practical preparation—helping youth develop the skills, confidence, and resourcefulness to navigate the real world.
Why “& More” matters

The “& More” speaks to everything that becomes possible when a young person receives meaningful support: more confidence, more exposure, more guidance, and more opportunity.
A second chance can mean a fresh start, another opportunity to learn, or simply access to something that was out of reach before. Every young person is welcome to be seen for their potential and what lies ahead.
A message from our founders & co-founders
We've always had a heart for children. Second Chance & More comes from our desire to keep pouring into them as they grow—especially during the years when their choices, confidence, and sense of direction are taking shape.
We want our young people to know they matter. We want them to have people they can learn from, tools they can use, and opportunities that help them see a bigger future for themselves.
This is a passion project with a purpose: to help young people feel supported, discover their strengths, and prepare for the life ahead of them. When we show up with care and intention, we give them more room to become.
